Although there are numerous causes of hair loss, the most common cause is male-pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). Although it is called male-pattern hair loss, it is also commonly seen in women. There are 2 main factors, genetic and hormonal factors that cause the disease. Hair loss may arise due to vitamin and iron deficiencies, eating habits, environmental factors and stress. Before hair loss, hair gets thinner, hair color gets lighter, and finally, hair follicle completely disappears. Individualized treatment should be planned following the required analyses to eliminate hair follicle loss.
